Just so ya know, I can't manage stress of risk without my playlist running in the background. Don't ask me why I felt I had to divulge that... I guess I'm just trying to tell ya how I use music to get me to a place where I can be braver than I feel I really am. Have a peaceful self loving day Heather... bust it down into manageable pieces. The old axiom, "How do you eat an elephant? One bite at a time. " Best serve me during these times. I gotta roll out.
 
I aspire to become more than the sum of my parts. You do to, Heather along with the rest of the members here, or else we wouldn't be struggling to actualize something different than what we've got. Animals are amazing at helping us get present and recover.

I love looking very closely at flowers; taking in the intricacy, beauty, fragrance...

Smell is a good sense to use to get present, relax, heal.
Amethist has a great idea using aromatherapy for her Hubby.

Using taste to get present (not snorfing up food, but imagine being a professional food-taster): Munching on Cardemon seeds is a well-utilized technique for people needing to get present, crystalized ginger (with water nearby), fruits, nuts... (chocolate)...

Going for a walk, physical activity (especially when you don't feel like it) is a very powerful way of re-orienting yourself. Connecting with nature is very powerful for bringing you back.

I LOVE YOU, HEATHER!!!

I am glad you are doing better Heather, but I got to tell you that you always make me laugh my ass off!! I'm so glad that I am not drinking anything while I read your posts lmao!!

BTW I f-ing hate the hands feelings tooo!! Creepy!!
