Update. I will be submitting my Comsuper Application tomorrow and hoping for an A GRADE PENSION .

Also Update I am now moving back to QLD so if anyone wants to catch up when I get there let me know

I have a friend in QLD.. cool! I'll have to tell her to beware lol... and EAOS is End of Active Obligation of Service.. in the states if you get out before 10 yrs you have an inactive reserve status till the 10 yr mark that they can call u up still... hence the ACTIVE in that acronym...

Not sure it was ever used in Nam (calling up inactive reserve) but they are there.. if they want you...

Ok well I am OUT Officially.
I have been Medically Discharged and have now moved to Queensland Australia.
I am still waiting to find out what my Pension will be but for now I am happy and in a good place.
Sorry for the long delay in Chatting my internet was out whilst I was travelling interstate.

Hi Saber...Billy here from the USA...some things are the same in every country.....paper work and more paper work and keeping copies of the damn pile of paper work so when they loose something and they will you will have a copy. Start developing a way to prove everything you can, letters, docs, frigging paper work!!! lol

Jimbo here I am in the same boat. Diagnosed with Severe Depression and PTSD. I am still in the RAAF, but not at work due to my illness. This all happened when i was in AFG last year and was sent home early from my deployment. the ADF has put me through a PTSD program and my MEC has been changed to J40 waiting for the MECRB in CBR. Should be soon .

Not sure what they will do, as i am 52 and been in for 25yrs.

Would like your thoughts?
