Holy crap, I won the job. According to my boss I 'slaughtered' the interview, and beat the competition soundly. I was worried for a moment, but when I saw my opponents I had a good feeling. -Nobody- dressed up for the interview.. Literally nobody. They all came in dressed in... well not rags, but they certainly didn't go out of their way to dress up for it. I'm not sure why.. I always dress nice for those sorts of things... I'm rambling...
Anyways, lots more work, lots more money. I'm going to be able to pay my own rent without help from the folks.. Going to be able to get new glasses... get my cavities fixed... maybe even some new furniture.. I've been living with 10 year old clothes and a futon from the dark ages.. Ofcourse first I gotta pay off the suit and all, but still.. This is great!
I'm going to try and keep my current budget though (at least after I get the upgrades) because that way I'll be able to save for a car, dump money in retirement accounts.. Maybe even go on a few dates. Holy shit!!
I'm just a little overwhelmed is all.. Carry on.
