I Have a Job!

Just in time. I had to be employed by August and I survived. As of yesterday, I have a full time position with benefits. I am thrilled!

I was hired on Monday and started working on Monday to be ready when school starts. I can't wait!

Teaching ESL is *the best* job ever. The kids are just amazing. I hope you have a blast!

I know! I was totally thrilled to get the ESL position. Originally, I had applied for and accepted a 6th grade English Language Arts position and then they asked if they could move me to the ESL class. I still have to take the test to be certified in ESL, so I was thrilled they gave me the opportunity.

Thanks for all the well-wishes. I did not want to post that I was looking for a teaching position because I was afraid I would not find one and then I would have felt foolish.

Fear is awful; it keeps people from acheiving or even trying---at least this is true for me.

Good luck teaching! It is one of the hardest jobs there is, but it can also be the most rewarding.
