I Realize That I

I realize that I may have something called Autonomic neuropathy (Sp?) and I already have been diagnosed with Periferal neuropathy, which is a lesser version of the above. I will be seeing my Dr. soon and will definitely discuss this with her, to see what she thinks. In the mean time, while I wait for my appointment, I am implementing a lot of different healthy things into my diet and exercise, etc. to help combat this. The suggestions i READ ONLINE were things that anyone could easily do, so I am doing them. Also, there was one thing that I think the Dr. can prescribe a medicine for, and I hope she will, when we discuss this.

I am getting that self-care is hard, but it's really important for stability.

I realize that it is up to me to create the life I want.

I realize that if I am very lucky, I might have 20 years left to live and I want to live it up and do some things that I have always wanted to do, ....like swim with the dolphins, etc.

I realize that it is finally time that I can leave the past behind.

I realize that I feel healthy enough concerning my PTSD that I can actually enjoy the fact that a fellow is making , passes at me. In fact that makes me very happy!

I realized today, I miss my cultural roots and those whom understand some of our old ways of being. I have long functioned among differentiation of living style that is not mine. I miss the drum beats, the songs, the stories, the bonding, the wisdom of my people. So many have passed on the reservation that I once knew...and I need to find some others that honor the ancient ways in order to have some peace.

I realise I spent most of life being afraid, regretting my actions ,
hating myself for my mistakes! After years of therapy I now realise my fear has become strength, my actions were as a result of others insecurities and bullying and my mistakes were not actually mistakes but were the result of years of abuse x

I realize that even though I don't want to be effected by this divorce I will. My family(outside) will never be the same. No more family gatherings. Dad bashing.

I realise that being kind and selfless doesn't get repayed or even thanked very often, but when someone shows genuine gratitude, it makes it all worth it.

I realise that I may well live to a ripe old age and that I need to take steps financially to prepare for this.

I spent most of my life believing that I had no future, that death was just around the corner so preparing for my future financially was just a waste of time. Reality has finally hit.
