It's very tough figuring out how to deal with your own recipe of PTSD, finding how to make it more digestible if you will. I am hopeful that if we want it to be, it will be. I've been coming to terms with accepting this. I'm fairly new to understanding how much of me is left after I take into account everything that's a learned behaviour. But, I think wanting to get better is a huge part of "feeling" better about ourselves. Knowledge that it's not our fault, rather that it's something that we have to work to overcome.
