I'm Doing This For Me, Because I'm Worth It

Why are you cutting that out?

I add a malted powder, I'm cutting it out to save 200 calories. This meant I could have a slice of homemade apple cake after supper. I need to make choices, one or the other, not both with some chocolate on the side.

I'm not counting calories as such, just watching what I eat. I had avocado yesterday which is very rich and I think high in calories, however it also provides a good source of 'good' oil etc.

Sorry to hijack your thread kp

Hijack away, we can encourage one another. Day 4 went as well as the others. I am not snacking on crap.

The test will be the weekend, we have always had sundowners followed by wine on a Fri to celebrate the end of the week. Then the same on Sat. I will allow myself 2 glasses of wine each night. I have to be careful as usually when my resistance is down after wine I hit chocolate in a major way. To not feel deprived I will allow myself some choc, just not the whole bloody box.

This afternoon I walked the dogs again, cleaned upstairs and this morning went to work.

You are doing great KP just shows what you can do with bit mental focus.

Unfortunately I have failed again already so early on in the day, so angry at myself. maybe my mind just isn't in it or I'm making excuses for my lack willpower. I know need to do it as weight has huge impact on how feel so I need find way losing it.
 
Simply Complex made me do five burpees yesterday. OMG-she is trying to kill me!:eek:

I hope it's ok to butt in, it just sounds like you're going about it in exactly the right way, that's all. If you want a teeny hint for burning calories which add up, buy a set of even one pound weights to carry when walking or even have habitually around the house. Even something that light ( mine are 3, but I've been doing it for quite awhile) burns a few more and helps tone, which in turn burns more calories as other stuff turn into muscle. Plus I noticed my underarms don't jiggle any more!

Much good wishes to all with this, hope it was ok to butt in with the weights thing.
