I went to a womens meeting by myself last night! It was huge! It seems like there were a thousand people there! I not only stayed for the whole meeting but also introduced myself to the group! This was terrifying but, I did it!
After the meeting some people came up and introduced themselves and invited me to dinner. I said yes! I went to dinner and they were highly entertaining. I didn't talk much at dinner but I did laugh a bit and they invited me to some of the other meetings they go to. I think I'm gonna check some of them out.
I never would've done any of this a year ago (or even a couple of months ago). This is a real milestone for me. I don't normally do people. I am actually getting out there and doing stuff.
BTW Someone was supposed to meet me at that meeting but didn't show up and I stayed anyway!
