Introduce your stuffed animals

I thought it would be a good time to introduce the newest member of my family I gave him to myself after Valentine’s I don’t have a name for him yet so maybe you can help. Also being introduced is my long-standing bed buddy Froggie, and last but not least Favorite, yes that’s his name he was my sons from birth until he “was too old for stuffed animals”, me I took to bed with me and I get all the love they can give me.

Since I read on this thread ages ago I have wanted to add! And here she is ; “Livlig”, which is Scandinavian for lively. And I need that kind of protection in the night, and definitely that energy in the mornings when I wake feeling blaaaaa.

At work and just finished calling a bunch of therapists for my son and am feeling worn out. Thinking about my sweet stuffed rabbit. I’m so grateful for her. Been sleeping with her since I started recovery for repressed memories of csa 18 mos ago. I was hugging her so tight this morning! So tight, she was like flat! She says she loves it the tighter I squeeze because she loves feeling needed. I will post a pic later. Just wanted to say how much I love her—and I love looking at the pics of all your stuffies. My rabbit has a funny name, she is called Peeky. Hope to post a pic later. <3

What a cute idea for a thread!

This is Wally! He's 19 yrs old.

My best friend at the time, and I were roommates. I was 19, fresh out of my trauma and was having insane nightmares that would wake her every night. She took me down to Walmart in the middle of the night once and asked me to pick one out of the stuffed animals to sleep with and she bought him for me. We used to call Walmart "Wally World" so that's where he got his name. Been sleeping with him ever since.

I need to replace him as he is so incrediablly used and stuff. So much so that the "bow" on his neck is starting to disintegrate but can't find it in me to replace him yet.

Here is Peeky, the absolute best snuggle bunny ever! I attached to her at the beginning of my recovery with my current therapist. She saw me through the dissolution of my marriage and moving into my own place. I hold her every night.

This is Eggbert and I just got him. I was finally able to let my wall down enough to let myself enjoy "kid stuff." I sleep much better at night with his big, squishy, soft body next to me.

This is one of my Hello Kittys. I bought her when I was leaving my ex and put her right over my steering wheel in my car so that I'd see her every time I drove. :) I still adore her all these years later.
