@Freida thank you for the understanding. I would love to say those are the only medical issues that I have had in the last 3 plus years but those are just the worst that took me off work for a duration of time. I deal/struggle with what the doctors call chronic daily migraine syndrome. Easily explained I have debilitating migraine (greater than 6 on scale of 10) 20-25 days per month. I can wake up with them, be triggered into one (stress, chemicals and smells, food sunlight, heat or nothing). I deal, between doctor appointments and days that I just can't function at work that pretty much eats all my sick and vacation time each year.

My t has pushed me in the past to take time off for treatment/therapy but says that I don't put as much emphasis on my mental health as I do my physical health. I have tried to explain that it isn't that my concern is not that I don't understand that mental health is as important but the general population including my employer doesn't understand which means no understand.

Long term disability is not an option as the only way that it covers me is if I have exhausted short term disability also my work contract states that if for any reason I am disabled long term they can terminate without cause which creates a catch 22 because I didn't read that right when I signed and I don't know if that would me the LTD would terminate as well or not but I do know it would me no job, no income and no health insurance.
 
Oh you poor thing!!!! That is an awful place to be stuck in. I'm so sorry. I know its not a good option because the money sucks but any chance of looking at unemployment and/or SSI? And I just asked my LTD people about that today - if I get fired do I keep the LTD. They said yes, because I was employed when I became disabled. Maybe a call into them (rather than your employer) could help? My employer has been less than helpful - everything I've learned so far has been through the insurance company
