A massive heart felt well done to you. Its a huge achievement, and you should feel very proud. I can't add to the brilliant thoughts and advice already given. Just try to enjoy it and don't be too hard on yourself. It's a really positive thing you've done.

So most people returning to the workforce feel a great deal of stress about it from 1 to 3 months, this is normal and will pass. I have seen a lot of people with depression re-enter the workforce. And some people who have had time off for various reasons.

Congrats!! That's awesome. I think the stuff you "forgot" is probably still out there, in your head, it just needs a refresher. I suppose your job involves this kind of task, practice will have it come back to the surface in no time.

I agree with the others, just take it day by day, for now don't worry about six months in the future.

Congratulations! I was out for a few years and thought I couldn't possibly do the job I was hired for, but I did. It took a little time for me, but I was fine in the long run. The second time I was in this situation, I hit the ground running and rocked the job. Cheers and best of luck in your new job! :) VB
