P.s. also I didn't know things would go that way again meaning I've been paying her what I could and I don't even have travel money yet.

Why hell? Why not funny as f*ck? (Serious question). Also? Why not ______? IE Think of at least 20 different responses. I STRONGLY suspect it’s “hell” because you’re amplifying normal life with life or death. As opposed to annoying, funny, vexing, of no moment, mildly irritating, etc.Sounds magical but I will be returning to that city in couple of months even if I leave in different apartment.
So even if I return to a hew apartment? Can't they still make trouble for me? Plus I'll definitely be repaying everything and even text interactions give me chills. I had breakfast and I'm back, in bed nauseous and dissociating in and out.
This is hell.
Only if you invite them to -or- if they are seeeeeriously deranged, psychotic, & powerful. AKA? If you give new leasers their information, or if they have the power to track you AND are so incredibly vindictive as to actually track you. (2 different things). AKA? Can’t you be killed by a falling toilet seat from a passing airplane? Sure! It’s. Possible. Incredibly unlikely, but still possible. Are you willing to live your life in fear of falling toilet seats? You? Are leaving. Whether you return or not? Is inconsequential. She’s a part of your past, not your future. Unless you drag her into it. Or she’s both psychotic AND powerful AND vindictive AND sooooo many things. Instead of just a normal woman, who is pissed off. But taking the normal to the extreme? Is a specialty of PTSD. Looked at rationally? Is she normal? Or a life-v-death threat? As a life-v-death threat? FFS kill her, rather than pay her. If she’s normal? Pay her. But that also means she’s nooooormal. Drop dead boring as f*ck irritating human. Not someone to fear. Just someone to pay off & leave in your dust.Sounds magical but I will be returning to that city in couple of months even if I leave in different apartment.

I doubt any former landlord has the energy to start tracking people after they have left the country. What is possible though that some countries have debt registries which may show any owed debts if the landlord has decided to take the owed debts into formal debt collection. These debts that are in collection might be visible for potential future landlords and therefore affe t how easy it would be to get a new apartment. But even in that case a rent security deposit probably helps (as landlord can use that to cover the missed rents).Only if you invite them to -or- if they are seeeeeriously deranged, psychotic, & powerful.
