My work buddies challenged me to a plank contest again so I have been doing that. My plan was to walk with my dog and then settle him with a hot dog from the cart and then do my planking outside but it's been the worst weather here.

In the meantime, I have started the plank inside and am enjoying the friendly competition. In addition, I sat out the 10k in the city this weekend just because I wanted to be home, reading and being quiet which if I told too many people I did that they would think I was seriously ill lol.

I have been getting every penny out of my treadmill and enjoying the inside runs. I have hit Krav as regularly as I can and am thinking about trying some tae kwan do at my local dojo.

I am having a great time with my kettle bells too - loving every workout I do with them - there are so many free workouts on you tube and I am loving being able to do a workout and then a run afterwards.

I am actually looking forward to hockey again in the fall and also thinking about a women's football league but not finding any resources - I might have to start my own league!!

All I can do is walk or stand, due to my sciatic nerve pain, so I got permission to walk back and forth in the back of the church yesterday during the service. I probably walked a mile while it all went on. I felt good. I can lay down too, it is just sitting that hurts so! I am in physical therapy for this too, so I have exercises I do for that twice a day. I only did them once yesterday, that was all I could muster up the courage to do, because some of them hurt to do. I know: "No pain, no gain." as they say. I am trying to bear with all this, but it is really tough!
