Hi sighs, the photos were of him. I also video chatted so it's the same person in the pictures. I don't doubt who he says he is as far as his role in the military. So no phone call from him, I called and it rang and rang and rang and I left a message. Not sure what else I can do at this point.

Ok - so we've established he is who he says he is. And that is a combat veteran with PTSD and physical injuries. And we've just had Remembrance Day (Veterans Day in the US). So to me it makes sense that he is isolating.

Now here's the hard bit. He may isolate for weeks or even months. My vet was just horrid to be around for about 4 months earlier this year because the 100th anniversary of Anzac Day meant the media were in your face about it for weeks beforehand.

Now for the even harder bit. He may never come back. Sometimes they do and sometimes they don't. No-one here can say which category your vet falls into.
