This morning I was having serious anxiety issues. I could no more have called in sick than flown to the moon. My company, of course, insists that I contact them when I am going to be late or call off. I used to be able to text, which I could usually manage, but now the policy is I'm supposed to call 2 hours before and it has to be me calling. I've lost a few jobs because I "no call no showed". I've gotten better at it, but what do you do when you just can't function? I was only 17 min late and texted, no one has said anything, but it will probably be worse in the future.

Also-I make a lot of mistakes. Sometimes it's due to concentration, stress, sleep deprivation, and sometimes I just have no idea why. Does anyone have any advice to combat this? I'm off of the ambien, which helps, but it's still a big problem.

Hi there, I do have an option for you that helps a lot with anxiety! Taking Magnesium and ginseng help a lot! they calm the mind body and spirit and get rid of sticky negative thoughts. They help with sleep, esp the magnesium. The are finding that a lot of the anxiety is made worse because of a lack of magnesium. Hope you find this helps you too! =) Best to you and for you!

I suggest grounding prior to trying to contact them. Do things like hold ice, eat strong candy, etc, to lower the anxiety and have a pre-written text you can send.

I will try bariestions of both of those things. Except the candy. Lol. I remember being triggered in my therapists office and saying. Now I’m triggered and eating this nasty candy. Lol. I still remember the taste. Lemon. Ew.
Ok, so when that happends I can’t get out of bed. So what can I put next to my bed that can act as a grounder?
My therapist says describe 3 objects in the room in detail. Has anyone tried that?
