I'm a bit shocked. It's pretty racy but all and all I don't find the video to be very good. It's pretty general and something Britney Spears has been doing for years...which is sex so yeah, I guess it works and gets attention.

She is hot, no doubt about it... but then so are lots of girls. I watched an interview of her about the video, and she wanted shock value so the video went viral. In an industry where they're all competing to be seen... I think she did a good job. She had to tone it down apparently for the UK version, as they didn't accept the US version. Funny...

I contest that. I find her to be average for her field of work. I don't even think she is in the 'cute' range for me becasue she looks like so much like the others. I mean, her facial features all line up alright and she is thin but it's not working for me.

It is sad to me that sex sells everything! One has to wonder why this planet is in such sad shape.

The song is catchy but that is not why it went viral! Imagine a 10 yr old child watching it. JMHO.

This video reminds me more of Pink... and the direction she took to become literally so popular, yet her foundation has cause underneath, Miley's doesn't other than wanting to be popular. Pink is massive because she doesn't want to be popular, doesn't want to copy others or care what others think.

Miley's trying to say she doesn't care (Pink) yet in her interview she wanted shock value for viral (popularity).

Very sad that Billy Ray groomed Milley to increase his wealth. What father would create this image for his daughter?

How messed up will our younger generations be having this image to try and live up to. Call me old fashioned.

Not real sure if her dad would have had much choice... her family is built around music. It is who they are, its more just whether they become famous, and then... how famous. Miley has done better than all of them.
