Flying Solo...I have the DVD. I love that film. It is also very awesome because it's a true story. Excellent film! What about Shawshank Redemption? Also a wonderful film!!

I watched Scarface a few times. The Godfather films are awesome!! I like them more because they aren't so graphic. Man, I wouldn't watch Scarface with the boys around. I think it would blow their minds!!

I have the Godfather trilogy which is great and watch it about once a year.

Um... I wouldn't be able to watch anything about gangs or drug trade. Or anything with rape, serious violence or sadism.

But if people want to choose a film with those themes, I don't mind sitting that one out. It sounds like some people like to watch films they can identify with, or just wouldn't be triggered, so if we watch a mixture overall it should average out OK.

I'm in for those as well! There are some great movies out there. I thoroughly understand not wanting to be trigger.

I'd love to join this club. However, I can't watch anything with suicide, depression, self injury, bullying, scapegoating, or slapping. (The Children's Hour with Audrey Hepburn, Girl Interrupted, The Dead Poet's Society, Sling Blade, The Laramie Project, Oh and that new movie with That guy. The one that my parents forced me to see because they wanted some stupid family night like they always do every other weekend. I feel so cramped there it's awful. The Descendants! That's right.)

I'd be up for a comedy.

Has anybody seen "A Beautiful Mind" ? An excellent film about mental illness based on a true story. LOVE it.

Yes. My "t" recommended it and so I purchased and now own it. I think it is an excellent film as well.:)

"A beautiful Mind" is a fantastic inspiring movie. I must say Russell Crowe played John Nash brilliantly.

John Nash proves that you can overcome almost insurmountable mental problems by applying logical thinking. Then again he does have a brilliant mind. :)
