My Mother's Split Personality

I’ve been thinking that since my mother had two distinct personalities, one kind and caring, and the other lunatic and cruel, that I will refer from now on to my ‘two moms’. It’s too difficult of a subject to assimilate for me right now that she was one person. I’ll call her Nice side NMom and her Psycho side PMom.

I had a similar experience. It made things very chaotic growing up, not knowing which mom would be in control. I learned from a very early age to read the domestic landscape and try to keep things calm so that pmom would stay inside but as we all know, pmoms come out no matter what we do. It puts children in an impossible position.
