Hiya and welcome Majbritt.
Something that helps me a lot is arts and crafts. I never thought it would but I realized while being in the hospital, that when I focus on creating something, I can keep my thoughts busy and also calm down. It doesn't really matter what you do and it certainly doesn't have to look great. The point is to try it. Start with buying yourself a Mandala coloring book and lots of different pens to color them in. This is an inexpensive way to try things out.
I live in Germany and I went to a day clinic for 8 weeks. What that means is, that I went to the clinic in the morning and was able to go home by 16:00. We had single therapy there, group therapy, arts and crafts, sports, etc. It really helped me a lot since I was off in a bad way when I went there. Check and see if there is the option of a day clinic near you.
Hugs
