Hey all :-)

Just a quick one. Very sadly I made the decision to final walk away last week and I have to say he doesn't seem at all bothered. The good news thought is he seems to be a little stronger - I only wish him the very best.

I've tried asking him when he wants to get his stuff as he left quite a bit at mine but he won't reply to that at all and I can't really understand why. Friends have told me just to take it to his but I don't want to exacerbate any of his symptoms by doing that. I've tried asking a couple of times and getting nowhere. I thought it'd be easier for us both to have a clean break but I'm not understanding his resistance at all.

If you're broken up, go drop his stuff off.. Bugger his symptoms. He's not concerned with your feelings, and it sounds like you need closure.

Now is the time to stop concerning yourself with him and start taking care of yourself.

Hey @Sweetpea76 :)

Totally get where you're coming from. No matter how bad he's been to me and much as I need closure I really can't or rather won't do anything that would set him back. My bad I know

would put all his stuff in a bin bag and go drop it to him... if it was me if i didnt do that and it would be like i havent got closure. instead heres your stuff, block him on your phone and happy day xx

I kinda feel like if you're still putting his needs first, you really haven't let go yet. I mean, to be honest it just sounds like if he did come back now, you would still take him back. You haven't actually made the decision to walk away if you're still basing your own decisions on how it would make him feel.
