I have PTSD- I have issues with anger. I have a long fuse with a big explosion at the end. I am constantly making mistakes and learning from them. I have some very typical behavior issues stemming from my abuse, but none of them make me belligerent with my spouse. I don't think it is your husband who is suffering here. He may be going through something on his own, and no doubt therapy would help him; but you do not have to tolerate that behavior. And you should not. You and your children come first, and in an abusive relationship, you need to free yourself from a man incapable of seeing your pain. Guilt is powerful, but if you can overcome it, I suggest getting out of your situation and seeking counseling to deal with the pain you are going through. Much love and prayers for you on your journey.
