A friend came over yesterday to bring me some paperback books that she had finished reading.

Couldn't believe how many books she had, at least 60 of them, which probably would amount to a great deal of money. I definitely have enough books to read through the winter months!

Making my way to a special tree I see everyday to give it a hug. The top of it looks just like the top of a heart shape, so I wished to thank it personally for so openly showing me it's heart each day. Had to climb through some dense thorny spots to reach the beauty I was seeking....but such is life.

I was in café and there was a young father with his baby - and all of the elderly couples stopped and talked and laughed with the little baby. It was kind of cute.

I realized that I couldn't put up the Christmas stocking that I have in the past as it doesn't really mean anything to me as it was done many years ago by someone that I haven't had contact with in a long time.

So it was time to treat me to a new Christmas stocking that would mean something to me!

I went out and bought myself a new stocking to hang on the chimney. It is made of red velvet and is monogramed with my initial on it.

The truly kind people I was able to talk to today while I was out escaping reality.

I went out and bought another new Christmas decoration for my house. It is an Angel with the words "Peace" on her.

I knew that she needed to be in my home this year and so I have my new stocking hung on the chimney, my Angel and a new hanging for my front door. I believe I'm going to enjoy these new decorations I got for this year!

the main on the train carrying an office waste paper basic with one newspaper in it...very random...gave me a chuckle...
