One Thing That Made You Smile Today?

A visit with the dear friend who taught me how to enrich my life via my fork and other various consumption habits several years ago after I was dropkicked through the end zone of neccessity via an ER visit. She's been out west and flew home for a brief visit. Good medicine.

Went to the store and the old Indian man who checked me out said things like, “Oh, your bag is so happy now to have groceries in it,” and when he gave me my change, “Here is your lucky ten!”

Nearly 60 degrees on Christmas Eve day. Wonder of wonders and much welcomed.

One of my cats sat and just *watched* me today while I was making her food. Eating is a favorite past time of hers, but tonight she just sat there and watched every move I made. No interest in the food. I gave her lots of hugs and talked to her a bunch and she just purred and purred. Made me so happy.

The feeling of the grass underneath my bare feet and the warmth of the sun on my bare skin as I soaked it up on this 66 degree (F) day.

It's not natural, but it damn sure felt good to my otherwise hibernating meat coated skeleton during this time of year.

I started hula hooping after celebrating the sun for awhile and as I was doing my hoop stretches, I looked up and counted 25 turkey vultures, a.k.a. beautiful breeze surfers, swooping and swirling in the sky above. Ahhh....thanks, day.

A bath with Shea butter. My skin is super soft so I don’t have to moisturise.

Watching one of my favorite local TV channels and shows. Today, the host is cooking with one of our local chefs/restaurant owners. She is soo not a cook. It's very cute. ?

I also caught an episode of Joyce Meyer earlier this morning. Her stories are so funny. I appreciate her heart! ?

I woke up to J in bed this morning. He's on the up swing and stayed in bed all night. ?
