Sigh. No way to attach piccies off the iPhone.

Just a note on something I read above. The ADA rules have changed slightly, tightening up the legal guidelines for what constitutes an actual service dog.

A store owner or clerk may legally ask you what tasks your service dog is trained to do for you. Emotional support, lowering blood pressure, alleviating pain or fear, and (believe it or not) alerting on medical conditions are not TRAINED tasks. There's a minimum number of discrete tasks your dog must do for you. You don't have to prove it on the spot, just name them.

Sam has been in training since December specifically for service dog work. Before that, he was in training generally to work sheep on the farm and compete in herding trials. He's two. I've trained dogs for about eighteen years.

I intend ultimately to bring him in to my big trigger places, big box stores, churches (with prior permission), grocery stores, and of course outdoor social events.

I'll find and post a great site that is out there explaining all this, plus typical psych dog tasks.

I had that problem, mine's not an iPhone (I'm a dinosaur) but I can email so attached it to myself in an email, saved it as a file and then attached it here.

He is a him called Max. He is a springer spaniel/colllie cross. He is 4 and is my baby, all 25 kg of him :roflmao:.

I'm excited. I will be getting a hairless rat within the next week. I really miss the one I rescued years back so I decided to get another but one that I can raise from a baby and treat it right unlike how the pet store treated the one I rescued. I will post pictures when I can

I have a manic Budgie called Robbie.

When we got her we were told she was male, her beak was turning from lilac (baby budgies have lilac above the beak) to blue meaning she would be male, but then it went brown (female) - that's why SHE is called Robbie! She doesn't seem to mind.

She makes me laugh because she does these crazy stunts like bashing her toys to bits! Sometimes she falls off her perch and then looks around as if she's embarrass LOL.

I find her out of her cage and following me around the house; this is even more funny when she skids across the laminate floor in the kitchen! I know its daft, but I talk to her as if she understands every word I say - I know all of us with pets do it - she never answers except to tweet at me.

I love that little bundle of feathers.
