I noticed a lot of "journaling" here. My name for typing too much. It just seems like sometimes writing helps you figure stuff out.I'm always so ashamed after I type too much.Like I have no self control. I'm practing short answers here. Is this typocal for PTSD? I hope so!

I tend to post a lot too, but mostly I consider any posting done in your diary is your 'safe place'. People may not respond, but it doesn't mean they think you're crazy. You're working through whatever you're feeling, like you said. Don't worry about it. For a lot of us, we've kept our feelings and memories inside for so long it almost seems like we're making up for those years of silence.

Well I think Junebug had it butI tend to open up more when engaged therefore projecting myself at other people. People who want to but couldn't understand. Not their fault, but therein lies the shame I guess.Someone shows an inkling of understanding or empathy and gets a novel in return.Otherwise I would just keep a dairy. It seems so intenal though which is where it has been.

Tootilla, Have you read the article about emptying the cup? Whichever method works for you is the right one. We are never alone here.

The most fantastic part of the forum is we are not judged. Around every corner is another person working through their journey! I admire your writing. Hugs, Whitney

I actually think that any means of expressing ones emotions healthily and coping healthily is a great idea. I have felt like you have and in the past have needed to post online every day. I also have needed to post long posts as my ability to express myself and feel heard and understood is very impaired. That is laregely linked to childhood stuff and a negative long term T experience. As that has improved I have been able to be more succinct. Essentially I agree with Junebug.
