When the Dalai Lama was asked, "How can you ever forgive the Chinese government for invading your country, destroying your most sacred temples, murdering your friends, your family in cold blood, and slaughtering your beloved people by the thousands? How??".

The Dalai Lama simply replied, "They have taken everything else away from me - I should let them take my mind, too?"
