I am currently having the panic attack feelings wash through me. I am trying to stay present and ground. This is my best way so far.
I just did two things that totally freak me out. First, I used the phone (I know crazy, right). Second, I called to change primary care doctors. I have been wanting to do that for awhile because my current doctor is not much help when it comes to anxiety and is a family friend. Not what I need right now. So I called. I stayed present enough for the call. I forced myself to make decisions and answer questions. I survived. Now the panic comes.
Once the panic passes I plan to reward myself with some reading time while sitting outside. This too shall pass, right?
