When we were at the Wetlands the other week. Walking along the trail there were lots of these little spots close to the water. Every one of em had a person or two, fishing, meditating, bird watching, picnicking etc. Seemed liked each of em was secluded too. Reckon I can see the attraction, be in nature "alone" in the city :)

What a nice area for a walk! I'd be one of those folks sitting at the end of that dock with a pole in my hand, willing a large fish to come by and bite my bait. I hope you enjoyed your walk to the fullest and came away from it relaxed. It looks like a wonderful area to walk through.🙂

This is Echo Reservoir in Utah. What looks like fog is actually compliments from the California fires. In the morning the water is calm and reflects like a mirror. By late morning, the winds come up and it fills with white caps and the waves hit the beach, making it sound like the beachside waves of the Puget Sound in Washington state. I like sitting and closing my eyes letting the sound of the waves soothe my heart.

The following two photos are of Smith and Morehouse Reservoir, also in the mountains of Utah. The altitude is a bit over 7600 ft. This reservoir is very, very deep and though it may not look like it, I am standing at the top of the dam's rim, looking way down at the water. The second photo is the view directly behind me. The Aspens have lost their leaves and are ready for the snow of Winter. This was our last weekend's destination hoping to go fishing, but the water had receded so severely that the banks were too steep for our aged legs to safely navigate down.

It's not a spectacular landscape, but it is proof me and doggo left the house today. The local frogs have been going crazy, and our creek was practically crawling with fat little tadpoles.

Ohhhhh...I love frogs and tadpoles!!!!! Seeing your tadpoles photo brings back so many happy memories catching tadpoles as a child. And to hear frogs croaking in the evening hours is so wonderful. Thanks for sharing your photo🙂.
