I have been taking 3mg at night to help combat ptsd related nightmares. I also am allowed to take 3mg more up to 3 times a day for anxiety. I have had some issues with sleep for some time. Recently I started to have dreams while being awake. I thought I was going mad and I started to research my drugs (related to sludge and his help with med's) to figure out what out of the 17 different medications I am on would be causing this.
Bingo would you believe its a side effect of Praosin? Well it is. And this was starting to become a major issue with me. its pretty rough dealing with the ptsd alone but to have your meds start making you relive nightmares even while awake was a bit much.
Now comes the kicker... to change med's and deal with something else or cope with the dreams? Crazy stuff. I am left wondering if anyone else has had this issue? What came of it? did you change meds and if so to what? I still have to get my doctor to change me over from the conflicting saphris/citalopram issue already. sigh.
