I dont know where to start so i'll start by saying i have abused alcohol for 10yrs and for the past 2yrs i have been addicted to a substance called GHB. When i first discovered GHB i thought i had found an answer to my alcohol issues, i no longer needed to drink and i felt a million dollers. To those that are unfamilliar to "G" it is very comparable to alcohol but alot more distructive and de-tox is a very life threatening syndrome not unlike alcohol withdrawl syndrome.
Anyway this all came to a head in Aprill this year. Withdrawl nearly cost me my life. I got through though but it has been a year from hell. After all kinds of medication for deppression, anxiety (terrible anxiety) i have more or less leveled out now. I started a coarse of Pregabalin 600mg per day, my doctor was very haprehencive about prescribing me it. But after several relapses with drink and drugs he could see it was try the pregabalin or i could wind up dead. I have a history of benzo abuse also so this road is out the question.
My question is, what is the generall feed back about pregabalin?? Im starting to worry im addicted to it. I panic if i get stuck somewhere and may miss my dose.... 600mg seems to be alot i have even took more.
