That last one is very accurate in regards to the line being drawn on the spectrum. That line already exists, its called a 7 out of 10 symptom severity. Problem is, empathy, compassion and greed is clouding the judgement of the implementation in many diagnostic lines.

Greed is huge... as mental health is a business, and every business is designed to make money, not lose money.

Pick you poison of diagnosis, and you will find the same issues. Some are just larger than others.
