I wish, but my dad co-signed and they have threatened to seize his home. Otherwise I wouldn't be worried about paying. They're private loans, so there is no option to get a deferment or forbearance. So to hell with the student loan
And finding another job is also a priority -- I've been applying to several jobs a week for the past couple months. But I can only do work-from-home jobs, and none of the places I've applied to have gotten back to me at all. I can't go do cleaning jobs or anything like that -- who will watch the baby? Daycare is about 200 a week, which I don't have. That's another reason I was counting on the money from when the house sells - cause then I could get daycare and go get a full-time, 9-5 job.
Honestly, my decision to move back to the States was the wrong decision. I jumped the gun. In Ukraine, I was fully independent and able to pay for everything on my own. I had two jobs and was living comfortably. But I had to quit one of those jobs to move back, and that was a huge HUGE mistake. I came back for family, but as it turns out, that was the wrong thing to do.
Ugh. I just want to get as far away from here as possible, as quickly as I can. At least now I can recognize that it was a big mistake to come back. Maybe I can still get my old job back in Ukraine.
