A friend of mine who is much more slender than I am had bought two jeans which were are bit too large for her. She gave them to me to try them and they fit! :wideeyed:

I didn't have to get a filling today when they prepared another tooth for a crown. I get it next time I am in for the crown.

I did something today I've wanted to for a long time.

i got a nuisance call from the people who claim to be from Windows. I don't like answering the phone anyway, so that's not good, and usually I just hang up.
Today I said "I'm glad you called, I'm thinking of auditioning for X-factor", and sung a chorus of "No Business like Show Business". You need to know that my singing is appalling - I always had to sit quietly at the back in Choir lessons.

He responded "Wow!". Poor chap, I bet that wasn't in his training, so he did well thinking on the hoof.

Then I asked if I should apply, he said "Wow" again so I thanked him for calling and then hung up.
