To all: I just wanted to say how THOROUGHLY I appreciate your efforts to communicate and understand each other. This is terribly terribly difficult stuff (people have been struggling with it at least since Socrates in 350 B.C.E "No one willingly does the bad" seems to me a pithy statement of a position of the core issue here) And I so admire the clarity, compassion, thoughtfulness and respectfulness of the discussion.

It is hard not to believe that the best people in the world are all showing up here. However disabled by injury or illness they may be.

Like we say in yoga class : The light in me bows to the light in you.

It is a shame there is no way to put you guys in charge of... something.

@Eleanor, I agree. I was just thinking that myself. Giving others the benefit of the doubt, regardless of what 'side of the cube' they are on, and truly hearing them is a great gift. There are great lessons in this posting, I believe. Thank you all for standing back and attempting to get to the bottom of something that clearly I couldn't articulate properly.
