Regarding my missing key:
The repair guy said (to the property manager) he dropped it off (mail box), which I was informed of in an e-mail by my the property manager. They have offered to change the locks. I said yes. Hope they'll do it soon. Checked mail box every day, key wasn't there.
When I turned on my mobile yesterday, I had three calls from the repair guy himself. So he does know how to use the phone! (Sarcasm, I know, I know...)
Property manager also said that the repair guy has to come and finish his work and that I should get the caretaker to help me with actually getting him to do what he's told (why the heck is this my job). I will tell the caretaker and we'll see. I wrote back saying that from now on, he (repair guy M.) can only do repair work while I am here and that I will not take off time from work again just to find him not showing up at all (no call, no message, nothing), and that he will have to come early in the morning or late in the afternoon. Of course, now I am still off work, but still, he will have to make an appointment and stick to it. Hope that things will be done sometime soon, but I'm not counting on it.
Well, the toilet's been leaking and has been waiting for M. to check and repair, if possible. I really don't care if M. puts it off. Once the toilet "explodes", I'll call emergency repair and that is way more expensive and I won't pay.
