I was debating on where to put this post since it could go in my diary or here and I chose to put it here.
Today I received an e-mail from the animal shelter that I picked up my Abby from. It appears that her sister that was adopted about a month later may possibly have a future in service dog work as well. They adopted her out to a family with a young child that has autism. After learning of Abby's success as a service dog for me the new owners of "Cream" wished to get in touch with my trainer and see about training their dog to help their child. I sent all the information I have about not only my trainer but several others that I have found since getting Abby.
For those that have followed this, back when I was looking for a dog I came across Abby who at the time was known as Cookie. So together with her sister they were cookie and cream.
