A photo of the tree which the 'kids' decorated...

I have to take pics when I find the d*m camera ( see another thread.... ), but thought meanwhile would post one from the year ours went, er- down.

I'd mentioned this before, it was just so traumatic I am sure it can be listed under a Wiki entry for causes of PTSD. Hee. I'd checked out of my head :brb: or something, snipped a wire which was holding the WHOLE THING UP. It was unattractrive, the idea being replace it with something less intrusive.

Tell you what's intrusive is a fully loaded 9 foot Christmass tree on one's Living Room floor, less attractive is one's husband walking in while the broken balls are still tinkling to the ground. Schmuck took photo, not a great one but you get the general idea.

And just for future referance, yelling ' NOOOOOOO' does not, in fact, hold up a tree. Who knew.

I am going to love enjoying this thread, seeing everyone's christmas trees. Apparently us 'kids' are too old to have a christmas tree, and we have been 'too old' for a very long time. I bought myself a christmas tree earlier this year to put up in my house, but had to move back home :( I'm almost 23. Can you ever really be too old for christmas??

Nicolette, I love your 'live' christmas tree. I remember my grandma always used to have a real one. I loved the smell of the pine needles :) Brings back good memories...
