The needles dropping isn't so much the problem, it is the dog continually standing next to the tree and wagging his tail into it, scattering needles everywhere and getting them stuck in his fur.

I was absolutely convinced you were going to say... "standing next to the tree and weeing on it" Hahaha!!

Perhaps it's because I suspect that's what our dog would do if we had a real tree?! Plastic all the way here! Booyah!

Can you ever really be too old for Christmas??

Smushroom - no you are never to old!:)

This year was hilarious! I usually put my decs up 2 weeks before Christmas. My youngest (19) doesn't mind but my eldest (22) gets moody about it. He said that if it was up to Mum she would put the tree up on Christmas Eve and take it down on Boxing day!!!!:roflmao: If it was up to him they would be up in November but he waited until the village tree went up this year (Village tree photo to come).

So this year I said he could do what he wanted. He has a black tree with white lights that he put up in his digs at Uni so he decided that was going in the living room. He put it up, couldn't find the silver baubles and decided it looked ridiculous as it is cheep and doesn't have many branches. (My living room is cream and orange - what made him think black would look good?)

So he decided to put that one in the kitchen where it looks OK (still no baubles though) and he then put mine up in the living room. Now last year mine had only a few baubles and loads of birds (that's my theme). This year he put a stop to it, sorted all my birds out and told me the ones I could put on the tree It was so funny! :roflmao: I kept sneaking more birds and he kept finding them! He did allow me to put on the lovely birds that my forum friend sent me for Christmas as they matched his colour scheme. I think he did a good job and I did promise he could do it this year so I didn't interfere - much! ;)

Photo's to come later!

I am enjoying this christmas tree pics. Something I rarely get to see. back 12 years ago I had one christian friend and they used to decorate trees. I got to see it only once though because I was not friend of theirs.

Thanks all of you for putting here and I am in to see more who is next to post them. :)

My old dog used to wee up the counter every time we took him to the vets - oh, hang head in shame

That only means that other dogs did the same thing, that's why he did it. So the vets office had to be use to it. Blame the first dog that did it, he surely didn't have reason too!

My Tess has to pee in the rocks right before she goes in the door. Without fail, even if she had already peed! She is a dominant dog though(which is probably why we don't get along as well, since I prefer to be the dominant one! lol). Drives me crazy.

I know it's not the christmas tree, which will come next week. Just thought I would post a few pics of the local shopping centre.

No, Loloma, what would be even better than posting those pics ( which are stunning, love that mall's designer!!) is insiting yes, yes they ARE your Living Room decorations, what mall? With whatever passes for a straight face in internet-ese here in the forum. Hee.

Whitney I wonder if that's the place I just saw on TV- som family which is 'addicted' to Christmas blow up er-dolls ( not in an iew way, head out of the gutter, people! And iew! ). It transipres the 'up' side of this kookoo thing is it just plain makes soooo may people happy looking at them.

Yes, be kind of cool to see SO many different decorations? Christmas is awesome. Yes, said that already, fair warning it's getting said again. Sue me, I'm psyched.
