My girlfriend doesn't know I am on here either, at best all she knows is that I read the articles she sent me on being in a relationship with somebody with PTSD. Don't feel guilty, my GF spends all her time with somebody else these days, it's quite easy to let your mind wander on that one, it's easy to just see everything they're doing as a attempt to get you to willingly go away so they don't have to be the bad guy and can make you feel like YOU abandoned them, so they were justified.
I often fear that if I don't get in touch it'll look like I don't care etc too, I think you need to just reconcile that you did and you've done more than most would even bother, I doubt many people would look up forums like these to learn more, yet you have, even despite it being over.
Be kind to yourself, all I've heard of late is all the things I do that don't help, it can cloud you from things you actually did do, it's easy to think "I could have done or shown more", but I think deep down in the midst of it you'll always feel like you never did enough or showed enough, long term though you have to think of you and learn what you can from the experience, if you can. Perhaps it was just a lesson to prepare you for your future stable relationship.
