It might sound weird, but I congratulate you for your courage to call your mother. It's much harder to talk to your family than to anybody else, at least that's my experience. Your family knows you longer and in most cases better which makes it harder to talk about certain stuff. ...so, it's not a shame that you chickend out. I had the same problem last year.

Do you have a neutral person close by who you can talk to? ...you can also contact me if you need someone to talk to.

It's so hard to tell people you're close to. In the end I told my sister, who eventually told my mum - there are fairly complicated dynamics in my family which made it particularly difficult. Do you have anyone that your usually talk to - not necessarily family, who could support you? If not, come here, I've found folk very supportive in my limited time here but do take the time you need out of work.

Made another emergency appointment to see GP today. Now lowered aripiprazole back down and 5diazepam in eve for sleep and 2in the morning to relax muscles and stop restlessness as codeine was doing nothing. Sigh... All feels pretty bad right now. :(

Is there anything that might help you feeling better? Like drawing, reading, doing sports...? I hope that the medicine will work and help you a little bit.

Just wondering how you are feeling now? I too am off on stress leave from work. Just thinking about going back is stressing me more. Anyways I can relate.

@Notsowild: I hope it will help you to stay off from work to sort things out. I know the dilemma...and I fear staying home so much that I rather go to work...
