That is the question my husband is going to be asked from now on when he has an issue with his PTSD symptoms. Not me suggesting he does something, but asking what HE is going to do about it ?
The same goes for me if I have an issue. What am I going to do about it ? But every answer has to be a positive one.
Like this morning, he had taken his medication ans started grumbling about an hour later because they were making him tired again. His answer was "Now I am going outside and doing the garden. Then over the next few months I am coming off of them"
When I came home from shopping I was hot and bothered so decided that to cool down the best thing was to get a shower. I felt no stress afterwards and calm as well as cooler.
So from now on this is what we both do for each other and ourselves.
We all have the answers, we just have to reach inside and look for them. Maybe others could try it too, as this was one of the things we were both taught at the Holistic Therapy last week.
