well saw the Dr at a VA facility today. said i have extreme PTSD. hmmm, extreme. ok. now what. ive started my claim with the VA. the DR. said i could get my results tomorrow. i have a VA rep at the local legion Hall. trying to get a hold of him. would think he needs a copy of the results to send the VA. from what ive read the hospital isnt going to forward anything, ill need to do that. figure this is going to take a year or better. they start out small and then you start writing and having people you know write. lucky for me ive been with the same woman for 42 years, divorced about 35 years ago but got back together, never remarried. funny, reading the guidelines about PTSD, top = 100%, you have to be filthy and really out there, guess you have to low crawl into the office. not quit that bad, thank god. it all comes down to the mood there in, hey were getting a lot of slack on how we treat our Veterans right now so we better treat these next few hundred good. also offered me group help, dont really want to go there. pretty much fed up with the government, i think they did enough for me. also said there really isnt much to be done about it, no magic pill. all i can do now is wait.
