All I can say is that I just sleep a lot.

Your body is doing a lot of work towards healing while you are asleep, so sleep away. You'll have plenty of time awake once it is all over!

Don't worry about that lower end deal. Happens to me all the time. ;)

P.S. Do ask the staff for a laxative, something gentle like Senna. Your body is probably just responding to the change in routine and being away from home as well as the chemo.

Just a little update. According to the doctors, Deb is doing really well. She has amazed them with how well she is doing. Sounds like she is their STAR transplant patient of all time :D. Of course I am not at all surprised, they just had no idea how tough and determined she is :).

That being said, she is VERY fatigued. She sleeps a lot which is good. Right now she is not able to eat much. I did bring her some home cooked food today and she was able to eat a few bites. She also said she managed to get down a whole Ensure today. Her counts are still going down. Got to keep her from getting any kind of virus or infection or anything. This is the scary part, she has no immunity.

Thanks Ph for the update. I really appreciate it alot. Lots of hugs and prayers for her continued recovery. I hope she does not get sick. Thanks again. You take care of yourself too.

Hope everyone had a Merry Christmas. I think I slept through most of it again. :) So sleep I will and then when I wake up assess just how much damage this chemo caused. It is amazing to voluntarily allow yourself to be poisoned. If there was ever any doubt, there sure isn't now......I am nuts! :roflmao:
