Hi All,

Would like to meet some other suffers PTSD through chat etc within this forum. I live in Sydney and have little support beyond my psychologist who I see regularly. Any advice, recommended literature, techniques etc would be greatly appreciated as I am still unable to function in a normal fashion as I did pre event 2010.
I suffer severe panic often and have become socially isolated as a result.

Hi there,
I'm new to this site as of today, would love to know of any other sufferers in Sydney as I find most people who have not experienced PTSD can't understand what we have to deal with on a daily basis. I feel like I really need someone other than my therapist who can understand what I'm trying to deal with and offer the same in return.

Have you tried any of the Women's Health Centres Melea? There are a range of counselling services available through them.

Hi, I'm on the south coast of NSW I am really happy I've found this site. Just seeing how many others are here, even though it's sad and really blows, is kind off reassuring that hey maybe I'm not such a fruitloop.
