Well what can I say the hospital I am having my operation at have gone out of their way to sort everything out for me.
The surgeons secretary was the first, seeming to understand how I needed to get this sorted before it turned into an emergency, taking hubby's PTSD into consideration, with everything.
I had another call today from the pre-surgery assessment clinic, that lady had been asked to call me to set the day and time up for next week, already knowing I could not go on Monday. She also new that it was all being handled as easy and as quick as possible, due to hubby's PTSD. Bless her she even asked if he was OK with it all so far, that was above anything I expected too.
So cheeky as it may seem, it was a good idea to push for it sorting sooner rather than later, using hubby and his PTSD as the reason.
It is so nice to have a completely different hospital department ( Nothing to do with mental health), making so much effort to ensure it all runs smoothly for my husbands sake. OK so its me having the opp done, but wow I am amazed at helpful all have been so far. checking and double checking all the dates and times will fit in with what is best for the both of us.
Just got to make sure decorating is finished before I go in. :D
