Thanks for your post. It was my step dad who raped me. I thought by forgeting the abuse I would heal from it. I prosecuted him after a 18 year silence. I'm not sure if its helped me, because the damage is already done. It was a hard time. You sound very positive and your post was helpful take care.

I can't tell you how much it hurts me to think that another kid would ever have to be hurt the way I was hurt. I think you do understand the feeling. I am thanking you because I mean it.

I agree.The triggers make me feel sick.My feelings can have me in bed for weeks at a time.Pain is a great motivator.But im a gluten for punishment.I feel your pain.Its great to no were not alone with our pain and great to see your talking about yours.

I really loved the way you laid out your post! It drew me in instantly and the way I emotionally connected with your words was unreal. I go by two names as well, the name (Saoirse) given to me by my biological father and (Sabrina) given to me by the parents who later adopted me.
