@hodge - the SNL skits are great and the one in the bar where hilary is actually serving is hilarious, amy poehler and kate mckinnon do fantastic impressions of her.
Whilst i cannot vote, i would like to add that in the uk we had a woman lead our country and whilst there were a lot who didnt like all that she did, a lot of people thought she put the great back in Great Britain. We now have another female leader and im confident she will do a great job. Also, when Hillary becomes president she can talk about shoes and hair with Angel Merkel and Theresa May , cant see Trump doing that !! Lol

Oh, and I agree! I love Amy and Kate! Also Trevor Noah on Comedy Central and also Larry Wilmore on Comedy Central. I hope you get that channel? And the great John Oliver on HBO Sunday nights!

I am smitten with Tim Kaine after watching parts of his speech today. I can see why he is practically universally liked by everyone in Congress. Hillary done good with this choice. I wanted Elizabeth Warren, but I am happy with Tim so far.

I'm loving Tim! His speech today was da bomb! So many of my anxieties over the campaign melted away after I started to listen to his speech. I 1000% think Hillary made the right choice. :)

Ive always taken an interest in american politics but this year has got to be the most exciting (only from an outsiders point of view i imagine).

Hillary is now the official Democratic candidate. I knew this was going to happen, but after seeing the last half of the roll call, I am crying. Yeah, she's not perfect, but I am still crying to see that the U.S. has finally nominated a woman in a major party. My emotional reaction has kind of taken me by surprise, as I expected she would be nominated, of course, as any observer of current events would figure. But holy moly, if we could have our first woman president right after our first black president, it would be awesome. And God bless Bernie for his incredibly gracious words when Vermont casted its votes. He is a champ. And bless him, too, for moving Hillary to the left, where we need her to be!!!
