Not to be a downer or a worrier, just to alert people to the possibility of an October surprise.

It's happened before. Just be sure to get out and vote, no matter what! Agoraphobia, PTSD, whatever -- all would be worsened if Trump somehow got elected. So make sure to take a few minutes and just do it and then wear that "I Voted" sticker proudly to a store or somewhere in public. Then go home and collapse :-).

Posting more as a member, less as Admin - but I learned interesting things today, while researching some other stuff. I wanted to link the Hillary supporters here over to a post I made here, explaining in more detail why Hillary wasn't indicted on the email scandal. The piece I quote from is really, very well-written - I'd recommend it to anyone who wants to help anyone else understand why she didn't actually break the law. More importantly, it also addresses the reasons why indicting her would have been a very problematic precedent, and it's nothing to do with DC having a Clinton bias.

I am really fed up with the email "scandal." I suspect Hillary is like many people in her generation -- fairly computer ignorant. I am, too, even though I'm almost a generation younger. I used a typewriter during my undergrad education and a computer during my grad education. I completely trust that as President she will have plenty of computer geniuses around to take care of this stuff. Not everyone is computer savvy. I'd much rather she stay focused on the issues that need to be addressed and leave the computer stuff to more qualified people.

It's amazing that the "email scandal" was never questioned when RNC used a private server for GWB's White House, then accidently "lost" over millions of emails.

The double standards & hypocrisy prove the misogyny. Also, did the Dems spent millions of dollars investigating? Nope. They just moved on to running the country because we had much bigger problems to deal with and what good would it have done other than to distract from the issues that truly affect all of us?

I've been talking with a lot of Hillary supporters in my swing state. *sigh of relief* As a single Mother on her way to obtaining social security for several mental illness' , I see no other choice. :)

Oh my gosh, Trying, I hope that SS comes through for you soon. It's really an ordeal. Anyone who says the government gives benefits away like nothing does not know what they are talking about. It is damn hard to get SSD and I kind of think rightly so, as there are people who will try to scam the system. But anyone who's been approved for SSD knows there is no scamming SSD. And why on earth would anyone want to go through that unless they had to? Blah.

Back to Hillary. She's had some great ads lately. And she seems to be getting more relaxed and thus likeable on the trail. Anyone see her on Jimmy Kimmel last week? I didn't, but video clips are posted here: Jimmy Kimmel Live!: Featured Videos

I've been on a political break for my own sanity. I rely on my family to fill me in------saves much time! Lol. I'm glad Hillary is up in the polls and I don't think the Trump revamp is doing much other than angering his base.

When I decided to check back on news sites, I encountered things like Olympic contenders taunting each other and a swimming competitor flipping off his dad for good luck before going for the Gold.

I know that is off topic, but only kinda sorta. I just want to know where I can even find a news outlet that is American based ( am already reading non partisan global news, no such thing as non partisan, but as close as I can find )

I'd seriously appreciate a nice tip on where, if possible, I can find an American news outlet that doesnt make me feel like Dorothy in The Wizard of Oz.
