The Holidays In Shimmerzville

That happens a lot with toys, it's really irritating that toy companies don't prepare themselves for the popularity of certain items, especially during holiday seasons. Happened with Hatchimals - they were surprisingly popular and the company didn't prepare for it and said they wouldn't be able to get more out until January. This was a statement made back in like, October. Cue Hatchimals being sold for up to nearly 400$ on Amazon as a result. When I saw them in stores, the little things used to only be somewhere around 40$ in Canada.

It's kind of outrageous how much sellers are willing to try and pawn off a toy at an insane price to desperate buyers :( Wouldn't be a thing if companies just met product demand. Then again, I guess I can't say I know what goes into production of toys - but I would assume it shoudn't take more than three months to make and deliver high-demand products, especially if you know that it's in high demand and it's buying season.

There are people who would think a farmer Barbie is weird?
Scout. .that doll that I paid $10 for..is now sold out everywhere except Amazon and maybe eBay. And look at this!!!! Who's weird now? Huh huh?

Maybe we can do homemade presents instead of store bought? Even things like shoveling snow for someone who can't.......oh wait, why would we have to shovel snow?

Yes, presents should be affordable and available and not given in a spirit of commercial competition. :)
