@RussH Thank you :) She needs it, she's used to being the one compared to me, the one that didn't do well enough, the one that just hung onto her sister, the second one to this the second to that. I've had responsibilities and been forced to be independent since before school started. She's just held onto me and done as I do without knowing the reason behind, therefore not learning. I think I'll build a lot around her cooking skills and abilities with children, because I believe she's got a talent there.

I hope we'll get good memories. We kinda need it.

I'm having my second break for the day now, the 8th or 9th round of laundry is in the machine and I've spent probably two hours folding and putting away towels and cloths. I always thought we had a serious lack of towels and cloth because the amount of such in the laundry didn't look big. Turns out it was only mashed flat. We've got so much it's barely space on the shelves...

Now I've started attacking the living room. It's going to be hell of a job to figure out where to put the things with no place, like framed pictures/paintings and books (my father's got about 2000-2500 books and shelves for about 1000 of them). I part the room into zones and do one zone at a time, starting with removing all mess and moving stuff so that I can vacuum underneath and all over, pick up garbage and organize the things that are supposed to be there before cleaning the surfaces and figuring out what to do with all the mess (which I just move to the couch and table for further inspection).

This is insane, haha. Our house is around 100 square meters with two floors. It's waaay too small.[DOUBLEPOST=1404916908,1404916761][/DOUBLEPOST]I'll start looking around for free furniture. Shelves and drawers. Then I can send my father to pick it up, and maybe also take a trip to IKEA.

Haha, that'd be fun, but my father wouldn't be overly happy. All the books (those in shelves) are sorted after what they're about. The only books that are the same colours are the encyclopaedias (16 of them), obviously.

Trauma, good for you! Breaking things down into sections is a very bright idea. That's how I tackle things around here so as to not be overwhelmed. I find that our surroundings can really effect our moods. So kudos to you for taking the bull by the horns and getting things done!
